I'm delighted to share that I'm finishing my treatment with Dr. Zreik, and the results are truly amazing. As a senior, I gradually began experiencing bruxism, gum issues, and breathing, sleep, and speech disorders approximately three to four years ago. Specialists I consulted recommended various treatments, including nasal surgery, Botox, dental appliances, deep cleaning and CPAP. Fortunately, I found Dr. Zreik, who diagnosed me with a dynamic cross bite, likely stemming from an ear procedure I had about 20 years ago. He explained that this type of issue can manifest gradually, many years post-surgery. The collaborative diagnosis between Dr. Zreik and Dr. Flurry, my dentist, both within the same office, was also incredibly helpful. He initiated my treatment with aligners, changing the plates multiple times during the treatment to account for the difference between predicted (simulated) and actual teeth movement. Throughout the entire process, I consistently felt his focus was entirely on my best interest. We have been seeing Dr. Z for a decade now. He did my braces, my daughter, and my son's braces. All three experiences have been great. He is professional and considerate. I have no doubt our youngest will have the same experience when the time comes.

Dr. Zreik from Carus is a really great orthodontist. If you're considering Invisalign, I would highly recommend going with an actual orthodontist -- namely, Dr. Z -- and not your regular dentist, which was the mistake I initially made. What was supposed to be a "simple" 10-week treatment plan to correct minor overcrowding turned into a nightmare when my original dentist messed up by creating unnecessary gaps that she was unable to fix. The only thing my dentist did right was refer me to Dr. Z's practice without any additional cost to me. Amazingly, Dr. Z was able to do what my dentist could not in the 20 weeks I was with her -- he was able to explain the intricacies of my teeth's movement and, more importantly, fix my dentist's sloppy mistake. Dr. Z is empathetic, patient, and precise. He offered solutions and options to me in thoughtful way. Even though we ended up ordering more Invisalign trays and going a couple of additional steps (with extra appointments), I was never asked to cover any additional costs. Dr. Zreik (Dr. Z) and his staff are always kind and they are trying to give my kids the best care possible to get their teeth straight. They listen is something is poking them. I have two kids coming and one was born with cleft palate. Dr Z knows what he doing to work with difficult issues as well. Also for us, orthodontics are pricey, but Carus has better prices than other places in my opinion. Scheduling at the end of the appointment is the only thing that’s stressful. 😝
